Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order of the respondent dated 26.9.2007 in C.143/00423, seeking to revise the annual value and property tax on and from second half 1998-1999 relating to petitioner's property at No.332 (Old No.145) Royapettah High Road, Mylapore, Chennai-600 004 (in Zone 10 Ward 143) and quash the same and directing the respondent to make an inspection of the said property and issue a pre-assessment notice furnishing all property particulars for fixing the annual value and property tax in respect of petitioner's property.
