O R D E R

The petitioner who is an accused in the POCSO offence case after coming out on bail had threatened the victim and burnt her two-wheeler worth about Rs.80,000/-. For the said offence, he was arrested and after 27 days, bail was granted to him on condition that he should deposit Rs.80,000/- being the worth of the two-wheeler which he has burnt and other regular conditions. To modify the said condition to deposit Rs.80,000/- , the present Criminal Original Petition is filed.

2. This Court on considering the conduct of the petitioner herein was burnt the two-wheeler of the victim witness to threaten her from giving evidence against him in the POCSO offence is very grave in nature and the condition imposed is not onerous or exorbitant. The deposit of Rs.80,000/- been fixed based on the value of the two wheeler which has been totally damaged by setting it fire.

3. This Court finds no reasons to modify the aforesaid condition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Vv 11.07.2024 To 2/4
