Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Section 226 of Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to consider and pass orders in the proceedings in Na.Ka.18351/2020/J2 filed by the petitioner in accordance with law and within a stipulated period .

O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to pass final orders in the proceedings pending in Na.Ka 18351/2020/J2 within the time limit fixed by this Court.
2. The case of the petitioner is that there was a mistake that was committed at the time of UDR scheme which resulted in wrong entries made in the Revenue Records. The petitioner made an application before the 1st respondent to correct the error that had crept in during the UDR Scheme. The further case of the petitioner is that the 1st respondent has called the parties for an enquriy and already nearly six hearings have been conducted and till date, no final orders have been passed. Aggrieved by the same, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court.

3. Mr.G.Rajesh, learned Govt. Advocate appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent submitted that the 3rd respondent had sought for time in order to make his submissions and that is the reason why the 1st respondent was not able to pass final orders in the enquiry. The learned Govt. Advocate submitted that this Court can fix a time limit to the 1st respondent to pass final orders in accordance with law.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the 1st respondent has already called the parties for an enquiry and the enquiry has been substantially completed, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to complete the proceedings and pass final orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
