O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent to initiate criminal prosecution against the 4th respondent, based on the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 10.06.2022.

2. It is the grievance of the writ petitioner that the District Registrar, namely the first respondent, while cancelling the document, has sent a letter to the Sub Registrar, to initiate prosecution against the person, who impersonated and committed forgery. Though this communication was sent on 10.06.2022, it is the grievance of the writ petitioner that no action has been taken yet.

3. The third respondent, namely the Inspector of Police, Kammapuram Police Station, has appeared before the court. According to him, the investigation is in the process. He also recorded the statement of the District Page 2/4

Registrar. Yet according to him, as per the statement of the District Registrar, there is no impersonation found out. Whatever it may be, let the investigation see its logical end. If it is found that there is no forgery or impersonation not happened, it is for the investigating agency to file a negative report.

4. With the above observation, the writ petition is closed. However, there is no order as to costs.
