PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus, forbearing the Respondent Police from harassing the petitioner by interfering with rights of the petitioner with his landed properties in S.Nos.238/6 and 245/0 in Ragunadhapuram Village, Valangaiman Taluk to an extent of 4 acres, at the instance of 2nd respondent.

The writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent police, not to harass the petitioner on the instance of second respondent
2. It is seen that the entire dispute is with regard to land property. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

3. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
