This Original Petition has been filed under Section 372 of the of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 seeking grant of succession certificate relating to the securities of V.Ramani who died intestate on 19.09.2003. He had in his possession shares which have been described in the schedule to the petition.

2. The first four petitioners are his daughters and the fifth petitioner is his wife. After publication had been effected, the parties were directed to adduce evidence. The first petitioner examined herself as P.W.1. The death certificate of V.Ramani was marked as Ex.P.1 and the legal heirship certificate was marked as Ex.P2. The communication relating to the share certificates was marked as Ex.P3. Thereafter the consent affidavits of the 2nd, 3rd and 5th petitioners were marked as Ex.P4 to P7.

3. In view of the evidence adduced, petition stands allowed, let the succession certificate be granted.
