ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the 1st respondent to dispose off the appeal dated 10.04.2024 filed by the petitioner before the 1st respondent under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 read with Rule 14 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book, 1987 and pass orders restoring the patta No.277 in the name of the Petitioner in respect of the house property in Plot No.19, Saraswathy Nagar Annex in Survey No.100/1A1C3A1A1A, measuring an extent of 2630 sq.ft., situated at 64, Puthagaram Village, Puzhal Panchayat Union, Madhvaram Taluk, Thiruvallur district.
2. It is the case of the writ petitioner that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the subject property, when he applied for issuance of patta, the same was cancelled on 30.10.2023. Hence, the petitioner submitted an appeal before the first respondent which is pending without consideration, till date. Hence, this writ petition.
3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. By 2/4
consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 10.04.2024 by passing appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any other interested persons within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
