This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to call for the records relating to the impugned Medical Examination memorandum under Form No.1 Constable (GD) Exam 2018 and Review Medical Report Under form No.4 dated 08.02.2020 and 29.09.2020 respectively issued by the fourth and Page No.2 of 5
second respondents and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner in the Post of Constable (GD)-CAPF in the light of the Medical Certificate dated 04.11.2020 issued by the Medical Board at Government Medical College in Dharmapuri.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the petitioner. Even on earlier occasions i.e., on 11.11.2024 and 14.11.2024, there was no representation for the petitioner.
3. In view of the above, it is clear and evident that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case and this Court has no other option except to dismiss this writ petition for Non-prosecution.
4. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for Non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 15.11.2024 (vm) Index :
