Petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the 1st Respondent to immediately conduct re-examination or to grant supplement grace marks for the time lost due to the technical difficulties faced at the 2nd Respondent Institution.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the 1st Respondent produced two Office Orders of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, one dated 12.07.2018 and the other dated 24.07.2018 as regards All India Entrance Examination (CBT) for admissions to UG, PG and Ph.D. Courses for the academic year 2018-19. For better understanding, the same are extracted hereunder:
"F.No.Agril.Edn.1(23)/2017-Exam Cell (Pt.) Dated:
12th July 2018 OFFICE ORDER It has been decided with the approval of competent authority in the Indian Council of Agricultural Research to cancel the ICAR's 23rd Online All India Entrance Examination (CBT) for admission to UG, PG and Ph.D. Courses held on 22nd and 23rd June 2018, due to administrative reasons.
The examination will be conducted again for which notification will be issued separately in due course. "F.N.Agril.Edn.1(23)/2017-Exam Cell (Pt.) Dated:
24th July 2018 OFFICE ORDER In continuation of this Council's earlier Office Order of even no. dated the 12th July, 2018, regarding cancellation of the ICAR's 23rd online All India Entrance Examination (CBT) for admissions to UG, PG and Ph.D. courses for the academic session 2018-19 held on the 22nd and 23rd June 2018, it has now been decided with the approval of Competent Authority in the ICAR to re-conduct the examination in offline mode (OMR Based) on the 18th and 19th August 2018, at 56 Examination City Centres all over the country. The examination will be limited to only those candidates who had applied earlier. The detailed notification in this regard will be soon available on ICAR website: www.icar.org.in 3.
In view of the same, no further adjudication is required in this matter. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P.No.19662 of 2018 is closed.
