ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned proceedings of the 2 nd respondent in Se.Mu.Ka.En.Ne.Po.Ka-9/03/2025, dated 02.05.2025 relating to allotment of 300 additional connections to the 6 th respondent for operating cable TV in Perumbakkam Housing Board and to direct the 2 nd respondent to allot 150 connections to the petitioner.
2. Heard Mr.D.Edwin Yovan Raj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Indumathy Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel for the 1 st to 3 rd respondents.
3. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that she has been allotted 360 connections, whereas the 6 th respondent has been allotted 1050 connections to operate cable TV in the Perumbakkam Housing Board flats.
4. In the considered view of this Court, this Court, in exercise of its jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, cannot be wasting its time on a decision taken by the Board to allot a certain number of cable TV connections to a particular individual. This Court cannot decide how many connections must be given to each cable TV operator. If such writ petitions are entertained, this Court will be wasting its time with such frivolous litigation. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present writ petition.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, are closed. 03-07-2025 gd Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes
