..Respondents Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus, directing the respondents to produce the detenue namely minor Narmatha, D/o.R.Ravindran, aged about 17 years bodily before this Hon'ble Court and hand over to the custody of petitioner. [Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner being father has filed this writ petition inter-alia alleging that the detenue being minor has been abducted by the third respondent and thereafter, kept her in his illegal custody.
2. The facts narrated by the third respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor are different. According to them, the detenue is a major. She herself appeared before the second respondent and stated that she has willingly married the third respondent. The petitioner has also given in writing on 29.06.2019 acknowledging the above said factum and thus, stating https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
that no further action is required and the complaint may be closed.
3. Suppressing the above, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition. We also verified the records which would clearly show that the petitioner did give a letter on 29.06.2019, as aforesaid. Thereafter, the petitioner has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition on 06.07.2019, suppressing the above said facts.
4. In such view of the matter, we do not find any illegal detention involved and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed accordingly.
