The petitioner challenges notice issued under Section 379(A) of the Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1919 and has been protected by an order of interim stay granted on 15.10.2014.

2. Ms.Suganya, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr.Ganesan, learned counsel for the respondents would submit, on instructions, that the licence of the petitioner to run a restaurant has itself expired in March, 2015.
