The petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody by the respondent police on 30.11.2024 for the offence punishable under Sections 309(4) & 311 of BNS in Crime No.531 of 2024, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner threatened the defacto complainant at knife point and robbed gold chain worth about seven sovereigns, a cell phone and cash Rs.2,000/- . Hence, the case. 1/4
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and a false case has been foisted against the petitioner. Hence, prays to grant bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner threatened the defacto complainant at knife point and robbed gold chain worth about seven sovereigns, a cell phone and cash Rs.2,000/-. He further submitted there are more than thirty case pending against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.
5.Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
