O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 06.04.2018 and proceed with the investigation in accordance with law and file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has given a complaint dated 06.04.2018 to the 1st respondent and also received an acknowledgment for the same. But, the said complaint has not been enquired by the respondent police till date. Hence, he approached this Court by way of filing this petition.

4. A perusal of the typed set of papers filed along with this petition shows that the complaint has been lodged before the 1st respondent and an acknowledgment also has been given. However, no action has been taken by the respondent police till date. Therefore, the respondents are directed to enquire the compliant of the petitioner dated 06.04.2018 as to whether any cognizable offence is made out and to take appropriate action in accordance with law.

5. With the above observation and direction, the Criminal Original

Petition is disposed of.
