Respondent PRAYER : This petition has been filed to modify the condition in the order passed by the Hon'ble Court in Crl.OP.No.15486 of 2025 dated 21.05.2025, the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three lakhs only) before the learned Judicial Magistrate-1, Thiruvannamalai in Cr.No.19 of 2024 from the date of receipt of this order copy.

The present petition has been filed to modify one of the the conditions in paragraph No.7(b) that the petitioners should deposit a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tiruvannamalai in Cr.No.19 of 2024.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court in an earlier order dated 21.05.2025, recorded the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that A1 and A2 had received Rs.2,00,000/- and A3 to A7 had received Rs.18,00,000/-. Thereafter, this Court has considered the same and imposed the condition on the petitioners that they should deposit a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tiruvannamalai in Cr.No.19 of 2024. He further submits that in the order copy, the said deposit amount is wrongly mentioned as Rs.3,00,000/-. Hence, he seeks modification.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police confirmed that the petitioners had received Rs.2,00,000/-

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the 2/4

submissions made by counsel on either side, the condition imposed in para No.7(b) in Crl.O.P.No.15486 of 2025, dated 21.05.2025, is modified to the effect that " the petitioners shall deposit a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tiruvannamalai in Cr.No.19 of 2024" within a period of two weeks from the date on which the present order copy made ready and shall produce the said receipt before the Court below. Except the above modification, all other conditions shall remain intact. Further two weeks time is extended to the petitioners to execute the sureties from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above modification, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.
