This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to select the petitioner as Scientific Assistant Grade II in Biology group either in General Turn category or in M.B.C. Category on the basis of the rank publised for the year 2012-2013 and confer all the consequential benefits.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the petitioner was granted the relief as prayed for and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.
