Mr.S.Thangavel, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents and is armed with instructions to proceed with the matter. Hence, by consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal even at the stage of admission.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that to a notice dated 02.10.2020, the petitioner has filed a reply dated 10.10.2020 seeking release of the Swift Car bearing No. TN 20 BE 4507 in connection with the case in Crime No.441 of 2020 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Karumalaikodal Police Station/R2. No acknowledgment of filing of reply is available on file. will be passed in accordance with law within a period of four
