O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed to call for the records relating to the order made in Na.Ka.No.767/2013/Va1, dated 10.01.2014 passed by the 1st respondent and the consequential Resolution No.7 dated 25.01.2014 passed by the 2nd respondent and quash the same and forbear the respondent from promoting the 3rd respondent to the post of senior clerk.

2. Mr. G. Ethirajulu, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition is filed challenging the orders of the respondent only in respect of fixation of the seniority in so far as the third respondent is concerned. The learned counsel submits that pending writ petition, the

petitioner had already been terminated from service as early as in the year 2017, against which, he has filed an appeal which also came to be confirmed and no further proceedings has been taken. Therefore, in view of the above, the relief sought for in the writ petition no longer survives.

3. Recording the submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to make representation to the Society for the benefits, if any, payable to the petitioner. It is made clear that if any such representation is made, it will be considered on its own merits by the Society.

4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 05.12.2024 msr Index:Yes/No Internet:Yes/No
