This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari to call for the entire records connected with the Impugned Notification issued by the 1st respondent under section 4(1) of the Land Acquisition Act 1894 in G.O.Ms.No.173, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries (FS-4) dated 08.10.2012 consequential declaration under section 6 of the Land Acquisition Act 1894 in G.O.Ms.No.243, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries (FS-4) dated 23.09.2013 for petitioner's lands bearing R.S.No.72/511 of 0.06.5 hectares, R.S.No.72/513 of 0.04.0 hectares, R.S.No.73/5 of 1.72.0 hectares, R.S.No.75/2 of 1.13.5 hectares, R.S.No.76/4 of 0.79.0 hectares in Nagore, Muttam Village, Nagappattinam Taluk, Nagappattinam District and quash the same.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that during the pendency of the Writ Petition, the petitioner had received the compensation of about Rs.88,37,000/-, without any protest. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication.

3. In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is closed. However, if the petitioner has any grievance with regard to the quantification of compensation, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
