ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in Natham Survey No.88/6 (Old Survey No.16/2) at measuring 2572 1/2 Sq.ft situated at Pillaiyar Koil Street, Kuruvappan Pettai Village, Kurichipadi Taluk, Cuddaore District based on petitioner's title under Sale deed dated 21.03.1994 in Doc. No. 251/1994 on the file of SRO Kurinchipadi as per petitioner representation dated 13.05.2024.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased the subject property vide sale deed dated 21.03.1994. The petitioner had applied for issuance of patta before the third respondent, the same was refused to be rejected. Hence, the petitioner has made an appeal before the second respondent and the same is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition. 2/4

4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal dated 13.05.2024 by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
