A complaint forwarded by the Metropolitan Magistrate under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C., been registered by the respondent police in Crime No.2 of 2024 on 15.05.2024. The present petition is filed to expedite the investigation.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the matter relating to capturing video of the complainant while bathing in a cell phone. The cell phone been seized and sent for forensic examination. On receipt of forensic report, the police will proceed on the complaint.

In view of the fact stated above, this Court is not inclined to fix any time for completion of investigation. The petitioner has rushed to this Court within 45 days after registration of the complaint. Adequate time should be given to the police to investigate the matter properly since it involves opinion of forensic report.

In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
