..Respondents in both WPs Prayer:- These Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondents to treat the Petitioners as within the age limit and include them in selection process pursuant to the notification of the Respondent dated 31.7.2013 and appoint them as Conductor and Driver respectively in accordance with law.

ORDER

These Writ Petitions are filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondents to treat the Petitioners as within the age limit and include them in the selection process pursuant to the notification of the Respondent dated 31.7.2013 and appoint them as Conductor and Driver respectively.

2. This court heard the learned counsel on either side and also perused the materials on record. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Though the prayers in these Writ Petitions are for a larger relief, the learned counsel for the petitioners has confined his argument to the limited extent of directing the 1st Respondent to consider and dispose of the representations of the Petitioners dated 5.8.2013 and 25.11.2013, expeditiously.

4. Considering the limited prayer now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioners, without going into the merits of the case, the 1st Respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representations of the petitioners dated 5.8.2013 and 25.11.2013, after giving opportunity to the Petitioners, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected MPs are closed.
