O R D E R

Heard Mr. T.Sundaravadanam, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P.Balathandayutham, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the First and Second Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the First and Second Respondent to consider the representation dated 24.01.2016 made by the Petitioner and pass appropriate orders within the time limit that may be fixed by the Court.

The Third Respondent has filed Counter-Affidavit dated 31.01.2019 stating as follows:- "9.

It is respectfully further submitted that the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai after examining the report of 2/5

the Deputy Inspector General of Registration, Salem, has recorded his final decision on 07.06.2016 in File No. 14574/R1/2016, which is extracted as hereunder for kind perusal:- "The report of the DIG Salem perused. He has stated that on perusal of the CD (Video recording), the complainant and the SR have exchanged words on each other during the registration of the marriage. However, the SR has regretted for his speech, which is mis-understood by the complainant. So by accepting the report of the DIG, the SR may be warned."

In the light of the foregoing submissions it is submitted that since proper action was taken by the Inspector General of Registration and the Respondents herein, this Writ Petition may be disposed as infructuous and thus render justice."

In view of the aforesaid action taken, nothing remains for further consideration in this Writ Petition, but if the Petitioner still has any grievance to be redressed, she is not precluded from working out her rights before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.

In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. No costs.
