This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 29.03.2018 and proceed with the investigation in accordance with law and file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has given a complaint dated 29.03.2018 to the respondent through post and the respondent has received the same on 05.04.2018. But, the said complaint has not been enquired by the respondent police till date. Hence, he approached this Court by way of filing this petition.

4. A perusal of the typed set of papers filed along with this petition shows that the complaint has been sent through post and the respondent has received the same on 05.04.2018. However, no action has been taken by the respondent till date. Therefore, the respondent police is directed to enquire the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

compliant of the petitioner dated 29.03.2018 as to whether any cognizable offence is made out and to take appropriate action in accordance with law.

5. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
