ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide electricity service connection to the petitioner's premises.
2. The case of the petitioner is that she is the owner of the subject property by virtue of a registered sale deed dated 11.02.2019. That apart, the revenue records have also been mutated in the name of the petitioner and patta has been granted in her favour. The petitioner also paid the necessary charges and made an application for service connection and she was allotted service connection No.073-03-21-309 on 24.03.2021. The same is clear from the receipt that was issued to the petitioner and it has been filed in the typed set of papers.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that when the service connection was about to be energized, the 5th respondent without any right or authority came to the spot and created a ruckus. Immediately the third respondent is said to have called the 4th respondent, who is the Inspector of Police and on seeing the police, the 5th respondent along with his men had fled the spot. After this incident, there is some hesitation on the part of the third respondent to energize the service connection that has already been given to the petitioner. Left with no other option, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned standing counsel for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Government counsel appearing on behalf of the 4th respondent.
5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to proceed further to energize the service connection, if the petitioner has satisfied all the requirements. If any law and order problem is created, it is left open to the third respondent to take the help of the 4th respondent and complete the process. This process shall be completed by the third respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
