The present intra-Court appeals have been instituted against the writ order dated 24.04.2019 WP.No.26165 of 2017.
2.The learned counsel for the appellant-Pachaiyappas Trust Board would submit that the appointments of all these respondents/Assistant Professors were 2/5
struck down by the Writ Court and the appeals filed by those Teachers are pending before the Hon'ble Division Bench. The proposals submitted by the appellant was rejected by the University on the ground that UGC norms and regulations are violated. Therefore, any further proposal is to be submitted only after disposal of the writ appeals preferred by the Teachers, which is pending before this Court. This being the factual position, adjudication of the present intra-Court appeals are unnecessary. However, the question of law raised in these writ appeals are kept open for adjudication, if required in any proceedings. 3.In view of the above factual position, the impugned writ order dated 24.04.2019 is set aside and consequently, all the Writ Appeals are allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected CMPs are also closed.
