O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 29.04.2018 and proceed with the investigation in accordance with law and file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that she has given a complaint dated 29.04.2018 to the 3rd respondent followed by a complaint dated 2.5.2018 given to the 1st respondent through post and the 1st respondent has also given an acknowledgment for the same. But, the said complaint has not been enquired by the respondent police till date. Hence, she approached this Court by way of filing this petition.

4. A perusal of the typed set of papers filed along with this petition shows that the complaint has been lodged with 3rd respondent on 29.4.2018 followed by a complaint dated 2.5.2018 given to 1st respondent through post and an acknowledgment also has been given. However, no action has been taken by the respondents till date. Therefore, the 3rd respondent police is directed to enquire the compliant of the petitioner dated 29.04.2018 as to whether any cognizable offence is made out and to take appropriate action in accordance with law.

5. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is
