ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging the order of the third respondent in Na.No.A1/3119/2022 dated 10.02.2023, quash the appointment order issued by the third respondent in pursuance of the notification as illegal and consequently, to direct the 3rd respondent to select and appoint the petitioners as qualified to the said post of village assistant.
2. Earlier, the petitioners herein filed writ petitions in W.P.Nos.15899 & 15900 of 2023 challenging the notification in No.A1/3119/2022 dated 10.10.2022, based on which certain persons were appointed as Village Assistants. This Court, vide Order dated 14.06.2023 has held that the notification is already lapsed as the respondent have completed the selection process and also have appointed some of the Village Assistants. Hence, the above writ petitions were dismissed. However, the petitioner was granted liberty to challenge the appointment Order. Taking cue from that Order, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners challenging the impugned Order dated 10.02.2023.
3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. On 2/4
perusal of the impugned Order dated 10.02.2023, this Court is of the view that it indicates only the method and manner, how the selection process were done in appointing the village assistants.
4. Such view of the matter, since, it indicates only the method and manner in which the proceedings have been taken, the petitioners are seeking to challenge the same by way of this writ petition. This Court is of the view that the impugned order cannot be taken as an appointment Order.
5. Accordingly, I do not find any merits in this case and this writ petition stands dismissed. The respondents are directed to publish the appointment order immediately. Once, such order is published, it is well open to the petitioners to the challenge the appointment Order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs. 05.07.2023 dhk Index:Yes/No Internet: Yes/No N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.
