ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner based on the representation dated 06.09.2021.

2. The learned counsel for petitioner would submit that the petitioner was unnecessarily harassed for ten occasions and he appeared before the 2nd respondent police. Despite the same, he was constantly harassed. Hence, he filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner cheated 3rd respondent. Satisfying the complaint against him, on each occasion, he would submit that he would resolve the issue with 3rd respondent. On the contrary to the promise, he has not settled the issue. Hence, for the purpose of enquiry, he is needed.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

5. In view of the same, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the 2nd respondent police on 07.10.2021 and in the event of not cooperating with the enquiry, the respondent police is directed to proceed in accordance with law by taking coercive action.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
