O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order of this Court dated 28.11.2022 made in W.P.No.31661 of 2022.

2. Today when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has submitted that order of 1/4

this Court has been complied with and in support of his contention, he has produced a copy of the order passed by the Thasildar, Panruti dated 17.08.2023.

3. However, Ms.K.Jenitha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would contend that, by the said order, the plea of the petitioner since has been rejected, still the contempt petition can be pursued further.

4. I am not accepting the said view expressed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner for the reason that, when a direction was given to consider the plea of the petitioner to pass orders and having considered the same, if the orders are passed that can be taken into account as if the orders have been complied with for the purpose of pursuing further of the contempt petition.

5. Therefore, recording the same, I feel that the Contempt petition can be closed, accordingly, it is closed.
