..Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the learned Principal Session Judge (Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases registered under the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act 1989 R/w New Amendment Act 2015 at Cuddalore to accept the surrender of the petitioner herein connected in Crime No.211 of 2022 on the file of the second respondent police and consider the anticipatory bail petition on the same day itself. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Principal Sessions Judge, Cuddalore, to consider the bail application filed by the petitioner on the date of his surrender in Crime No.211 of 2022 on the file of the respondent on the same day. 2.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the Court below has already issued a warrant against the petitioner for nonappearance. 3.

In view of the above, it is left open to the petitioner to surrender before the Court below and file an application for recalling a non-bailable warrant. The Court below shall deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and the orders shall be passed on the same day.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of in the above terms.
