O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 27.01.2018 and proceed with the investigation in accordance with law and file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has given a complaint dated 27.01.2018 to the 2nd respondent and the 2nd respondent has also given a receipt for the same. But, the said complaint has not been enquired by the 2nd respondent police till date. Hence, he approached this Court by way of filing this petition.

4. A perusal of the typed set of papers filed along with this petition shows that after receiving the complaint of the petitioner, the 2nd respondent has given a receipt for the same. However, no action has been taken by the 2nd respondent till date. Therefore, the 2nd respondent police is directed to enquire the compliant of the petitioner dated 27.01.2018 as to whether any cognizable offence is made out and to take appropriate action in accordance with law.

5. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
