The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 6(4) of Tamil Nadu Scheduled Commodities (RDCS) Order 1982 read with Section 7(1)(a)(ii) of EC Act 1955, in Crime No.93 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.06.2023 by the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Krishnagiri.

4. In view of the arrest of the petitioner, nothing survives in this petition. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
