ORDER
The order impugned dated 02.01.2013, holding that the petitioner is not eligible for the appointment to the post of Assistant as per the qualifications prescribed by the 1st respondent-University is under challenge in the present writ petition.
2. The petitioner states that he has completed B.A. degree and also passed Diploma Course in Computer Application. The name of the petitioner was sponsored through the District
Employment Exchange for recruitment to the post of Assistant in the University of Madras. However, the University of Madras rejected the application on the ground that the petitioner was not eligible for the post of Assistant as per the qualifications prescribed by the University.

In other words, on verification of the educational qualifications of the petitioner, the University passed the impugned order that the petitioner is not eligible for appointment to the post of Assistant as per the qualifications prescribed by the University. The name of the petitioner was sponsored in the year 2012 and the process of selection was completed in the year 2014 and even at the time of filing of the writ petition, the petitioner was aged about 37 years and now, he would be around 45 years.
4. This being the factum, the relief sought for in the present writ petition cannot be considered at this length of time and furthermore, at that point of time, the petitioner was found not eligible for appointment to the post of Assistant in the University of Madras.
5. In view of the facts and circumstances, the petitioner is not entitled for any relief as such sought for in the present writ petition and accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
