Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to lay the proper road facility at Lakshmi Nagar, Nochikuttai Village, Sathyamangalam Taluk, Erode District based upon the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2021.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Learned Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and submits that the Commissioner, Punjai Puliyampatti, Sathyamangalam, Erode District, is a necessary party as such person is the appropriate authority to consider the petitioner's case.

2. The petitioner has apparently made a representation to the District Collector, Erode, for a road to be constructed at a particular place.

3. In view of the submission of learned Government Pleader, the petitioner is permitted to carry a fresh, detailed representation pertaining to the matter to the added respondent within four weeks from date, whereupon the added respondent will consider the feasibility of the request and communicate a reasoned decision to the petitioner within ten weeks of receipt of the representation in terms of this order.

4. The amendment in terms of this order should be carried out immediately and before a copy of this order in any form is made over to the petitioner.

W.P.No.24206 of 2021 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
