Heard Mr.V.Venkataseshan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Prabhakaran, learned Government Advocate for the respondents. 2.When the petitioner had sought for converting the sanctioned post of Craft Instructor to Drawing Instructor in TMS Higher Secondary School, Thirupathur, the representation was kept pending, which prompted in filing of the present writ petition. 3.The third respondent in their counter affidavit have stated that as per G.O. Ms. No.132, School Education Department, dated 27.04.1998, Sewing and Music Teachers alone should be appointed in the Aided Schools and Craft Instructors cannot be appointed in such Schools. 4.Learned counsel for the petitioner, placed reliance on the G.O. Ms. No.12, School Education (EE1(1)) Department, dated 30.01.2020 and submitted that Craft Instructor, Art Master and Music Teacher have been included in the Tamil Nadu Elementary Educational Subordinate Services.

5.While that being so, the stand taken by the third respondent in 2/4

their counter affidavit may not be correct.

6.In this connection, the petitioner is granted liberty to make a fresh application to the first respondent herein seeking for such conversion and on receipt of the same, the first respondent shall consider the same on its own merits and pass appropriate orders, in the light of the G.O. Ms. No.12, School Education (EE1(1)) Department, dated 30.01.2020, within a period of three months from the date of his application.

7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
