Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of the Appeal pending on their file, filed by the petitioner on 19.09.2023 seeking rectification of Field Boundary Line of field survey map pertaining to land located in Survey No.290, Eriyur Village, Chinna Salem Taluk, Kallakurichi District, within a stipulated time frame ascertaining the cart way as per the Partition Deed dated 21.11.2005 of the petitioner. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to survey and fix the boundaries of the petitioner's land comprised in Survey 2/6

No.290, situated at Eriyur Village, Chinna Salem Taluk, Kallakurichi District.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 6 and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he has filed an application dated 19.09.2023 to survey the property and demarcate its boundaries in Survey No.290 situated at Eriyur Village, Chinna Salem Taluk, Kallakurichi District. However, the same has not been considered by the second respondent. Hence, he seeks a direction. 5.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 19.09.2023 and pass appropriate orders, for survey of the property and demarcate its boundaries, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, 3/6

within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
