The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2014 and reminder dated 01.07.2014 for the allotment of Industrial Plots at Arakkonam Industrial Estate, Vellore District on preferential basis.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that subsequent to filing of this Writ petition, as allotments were made to other parties and 2/4

the deposit amount was returned to the petitioner, the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
