The petitioner namely Marudhamalai, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in Crime No. Not known of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reported that there is neither a case registered nor a petition enquiry pending as against the petitioner.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
