Mandamus directing respondents to select and accommodate the petitioner for the Admission to the first year MBBS curse 20202021 in any of the private colleges under Government school 7.5 percentage Reservation quota as per the public announcement dated 21.11.2020 for financial assistance in MBBS Education by considering the representation dated 28.11.2020. Mr.Vijay Narayan Advocate General Assisted by Mr.E.Manoharan, Special Government Pleader for R1 & R2 Mr.V.P.Raman Standing counsel for National Medical Commission (in all the writ petitions) COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions were filed for directing the respondents to grant admission for MBBS Course for students falling under the 7.5% Quota, as per the Tamil Nadu Admission to Undergraduate Courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Indian Medicine and Homeopathy on preferential basis to students of Government Schools Act, 2020.

2. The learned Advocate General submitted that these writ petitioners have been accommodated under 7.5% Quota in Muthukumaran Medical College.

3. Mr.Wilson, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners (in W.P.Nos.17703 & 17706 of 2020) submitted that it is all because of the earnest efforts taken by the learned Advocate General these writ petitioners have got MBBS seats in Muthukumaran Medical College and he has also placed his appreciation for the earnest efforts taken by the learned Advocate General.

4. In view of the further development these writ petitions are closed as no further orders are required. No costs. However, this Court places its appreciation for the earnest efforts taken by the learned Advocate General to accommodate these petitioners in MBBS seats. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
