Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2013 seeking the respondent to sub-divide the petitioner's property situated at No.51, Neivilakku Village, Vedaranyam Taluk, Nagapattinam District bearing Survey No.393/4 admeasuring to an extent of 54 2/3 cents within the time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2013.

2. Heard, Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. None appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

3. The petitioner sought for direction, directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 20.06.2013 seeking the respondent to sub-divide the petitioner's property situated at No.51, Neivilakku Village, Vedaranyam Taluk, Nagapattinam District, comprised in Survey No.393/4 to an extent of 54 2/3 cents.

4. A perusal of the records reveals that by an application dated 20.06.2013, the petitioner requested the respondent to sub-divide the subject property. The petitioner also paid the requisite fee for survey of his land.

5. Considering the above, the respondent is directed to survey the subject land and sub-divide the same as per the sale deed dated 11.03.2013 registered vide document No.213 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2013, if not already surveyed, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
