Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to pay a sum of Rs.45 Crores as due compensation for the loss incurred by the petitioner monetarily and towards the untold pain, towards many number of illegal orders issued to the petitioner and mental agony and also physical suffering undergone by the petitioner.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to pay a sum of Rs.45 Crores as compensation for the monetary loss incurred by the petitioner, as well as for the untold pain, mental agony and also physical suffering endured by the petitioner due to numerous illegal orders issued against him.

2.This Court has expressed a doubt about the maintainability of the writ petition wherein a claim for payment of compensation of Rs.45Crores is made. In view of the same, the Party-in-person, who is present before this 2/6

Court, sought permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to file civil suit before the appropriate forum.

3.In view of the same, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as sought for. No costs.

This matter is listed today under the caption 'for being mentioned' to bring to the notice of this Court that the name of the petitioner, who appeared as partyin-person in this writ petition is wrongly mentioned as S.Vairamuthu instead of "S.Vairamani" in the appearance column.

2. This Court, having verified the same, found that the same is a typographical error. In view of the same, Registry is directed to mention the name of the petitioner correctly in the appearance column of the order dated 18.12.2024 as S.Vairamani and reissue the order afresh.
