ORDER

The petitioner is the wife. She married the respondent on 04.03.2022. Due to disputes and differences, they have separated. The husband, being a permanent resident of Karaikudi, has presented HMOP.No.99 of 2023

seeking divorce before the Sub Court at Devakottai.

2. The wife, being a resident of Bhavani, has come forward with this petition for for transfer. Considering the distance between Bhavani and Devakottai, which would require several hours of travel, this transfer petition has been filed.

3. Notice was ordered in this petition on 15.07.2024. The respondent appeared through Mr.S.Nagarajan.

4. The distance between the Bhavani and Devakottai is considerable. The wife, being unable to travel, has already been set exparte before the trial court. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner/wife has moved an application to set aside the exparte order and the same application is pending.

5. The narration of the aforesaid facts would go to show that the wife is finding it difficult to travel from Bhavani to Devakottai to attend the

hearing.

6. Taking into consideration the convenience of the wife, the proceedings in HMOP.No.99 of 2023 is withdrawn from the file of the Sub Court, Devakottai and is transferred to the file of the Sub Court at Bhavani. 7 . With the above directions, this transfer petition is allowed. No costs.
