ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to settle the retirement benefits, such as, Gratuity, Pension, etc. due to the petitioner, from the date of his retirement i.e., on 31.03.2007 along with interest @ 12% per annum.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner was settled with all the retirement benefits and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
