Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent herein to accept the Stamp Duty and RegistrationFees only on the Value cited in the Sale Certificate dated 8.9.2012 in Document No.2998 of 2012, on the file of the third respondent herein executed by Syndicate Bank, Mount Road Branch, Chennai, in favour of the petitioner in respect of property bearing Door No.20, (Old Door No.14), First Street, Sourashtra Nagar, Choolaimedu, Chennai - 600 094, Puliyur Village, No.109, comprised in O.S.No.17/1 as per extract Survey No.17/3, Block No.16, Revenue Division measuring in extent of 3200 square feet thereabouts, within the Registration Sub-District of Kodambakkam, Registration District of Central Chennai and consequently, release the said Sale Certificate dated 8.9.2012 to the petitioner.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that subsequent to the filing of Writ Petition, the petitioner has paid the demanded Stamp Duty and also received the Registered Sale Certificate from the third respondent. Therefore, nothing survives in the Writ Petition. The Writ Petition may be closed with liberty to work out his remedy as per law.
