ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to conduct enquiry and file a charge sheet in Crime No. 383 of 2016 pending on the file of the J-2, Police Station, Adyar, Chennai.

2. Heard Ms.K.V.Nalini Shree, Party-in-Person and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration of the nature of the allegation in the FIR, this Court cannot issue a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner. However, the respondent police is directed to expeditiously conduct the investigation in Crime No. 383 of 2016 and either file a final report or a closure report, as the case may be.
