Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to grant permission to hold, organize and conduct public meeting on 09.07.2018 (Monday) at Haroor Rountana, Harur, Dharmapuri District and to provide necessary protection and bandobust required for the meeting, based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2018.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to grant permission to hold, organize and conduct public meeting on 09.07.2018 (Monday) at Harur Rountana, Harur, Dharmapuri District and to provide necessary protection and bandobust required for the meeting, based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr. P.S. Raman, learned Senior Counsel representing Mr. N. Raja Senthoor Pandian, learned counsel on record for the petitioner submitted that the district administration has rejected the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2018 and hence, the petitioner withdraws this writ petition. The learned counsel for the petitioner has made an endorsement to that effect in the writ petition.

In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh writ petition, if so advised. Costs made easy.
