O R D E R

This Criminal Revision has been filed challenging the order dated 07.04.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.1529 of 2025 by the Principal Special Judge for NDPS Act Cases, Chennai, thereby dismissing the

petition seeking return of the property.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner owned an Auto bearing Registration No.TN-14-T-2944, which had been rented out to the accused persons. The said vehicle was used by the accused for transporting 1140 numbers of Nitravet Tablets, which is of commercial quantity. The contraband was recovered and the vehicle was also seized from the accused, pursuant to the registration of the FIR in Crime No.515 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 22(c), 25 and 29(1) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. Though the petitioner is also arrayed as an accused, the vehicle in question was very much involved in the commission of the offence and the confiscation proceedings have been initiated in respect of the said vehicle. Therefore, the Trial Court rightly dismissed the petition seeking return of the vehicle.

4. In view of the above, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the order dated 07.04.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.1529 of
