Pursuant to the earlier order passed by this Court on 02.08.2023, the matter was posted for hearing today. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) produced the proceedings of Superintendent of Police Thiruvarur District, dated 18.8.2023. It is through this proceeding that DSP, Mannargudi Sub Division has been directed to provide police protection to the petitioner whenever he visits his home town in Thiruvarur District until further orders. Insofar as Chennai is concerned, a patta book has been maintained and the security of the petitioner is being taken care.
