The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police in Crime No.104 of 2025 for offence under Sections 316(2) & 318(2) of BNS and Section 76(1) of Chit Funds Act, 1982 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police in Crime No.105 of 2025 for offence under Sections 316(2) & 61(2) of BNS and Section 76(1) of Chit Funds Act, 1982 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Since the petitioners were very popular and were helping other people in financial matters, now that has been projected as though the petitioner was running an unregistered chit and cheated several persons.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that in the guise of running unregistered chit M/s.VSP Enterprises, the petitioner collected subscription amount and thereafter cheated 708 persons to the tune of Rs.1,79,69,800/-. He further Page No.2 of 4

submitted that now both FIRs have been transferred to file of CCB and further complaints are expected from the victims. 5.In view of the serious offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed.
